Start of the winter season.
First kicksled competitions was held at Ylläs skiing resort 20.11.2010 like every year. Almost like tradition we drove up to Lapland and had the first kicks with and without dogs on the snow.

July's last weekend went visiting Estonia. Once again the weather was excellent and travel companions wonderful. Thanks to everyone involved!

In sunny weather was raced kickbike-scooter competition last Sunday. It took part at Ahvenisto motordrome.

National dogshow in Tarto, Estonia

At the same time when Kai was racing in Finland I was in Estonia with the dogs. All occurred and were but in the end we came home tired but happy.

Vartti Endurance 23.6.2010

On Wednesday Vartti Endurance genre was kick cycling. Idea in that Vartti competition series is that the competitors has one hour time (this time also 30min). During this time, they refract the journey as far as they "dare" to still have time to return to the start, time permitting. Every minute they are late gives them minus meters.

Our family was also involved, of course, on that fine summer evening. Kai now, of course was all in his own kilometres, but we others did quite well too. Me of course, were that one second late from that 30 minutes, which produced 500m “fine”. 13 minutes and 20 seconds I kicked in one direction before turned around. In that slight breeze on the way coming back I was supriced that I wasn’t more late than that.

Scooter racing Finnish Champions

Scooter racing middle distance Finnish Championships was held in Varkaus. The distance was 19,2km. Weather was not on that side of Finland so favourable as what we had in Vantaa at the same time. Strong winds and even hail gave the additional challenge of making the journey.

Doberman Special Show 5.6 in Finland

Finnish Doberman Club had it’s 60- year anniversary this year. In Vantaa, at Hämeenkylä mansion in a beautiful environment was held the annual Doberman Special Show. Registrations were 110, of which 21 puppies, 33 males and the remaining 56 females.

Our were also supporting the association’s activities with Luna. Lunde got EXE and a good review from Judge Mr. Norbert Daube in open class. Until last minutes he dropped her off among the top four. The nicest was to see the old dobi- friends after a long time.
